The weather is pretty extreme. After months of dry ness, we are now in for a very wet weekend.
Rainfall of 400 mm is expected with the most tonight and tomorrow.
Without a doubt we'll see some flash flooding. Lets just hope that it won't get up to 2011 levels!
At least this time we have a bit of an idea what to expect and its on the weekend so we can battle it with the two of us. reporting back soon.
Update 25.1 14:45
So far so food. At this stage we have not yet received as much rain as expected. However at the same time, the prospect is not good. Amazing amounts of rain are coming our way, combined with high tide, authorities are worried. E are just unable to do a thing at the moment so just continuing on as normal.
It really is extreme. A week ago, there were massive fires in areas that are now flooding.
Fingers crossed.
Update 27/01 1810
The rain has finally slowed and it appears just in time. One of the sheds has water in it but as we were able to remove all valuable stuff, we are not to concerned.
So far the horse has withstood the storm and it appears three water has just started receding slowly.
Thank goodness!
