What us it with male animals and testosterone?!
Our rooster has been good for years but over recent months he started having problems with Peter. He would start crowing when he saw Peter and even attacked him several times. none of that behaviour with me, very strange.
But to make a long story short, his last attack did not work out well. Peter had enough and kicked him, not intending to cause harm but as faith would have it, rooster broke his neck and dropped dead :'(
RIP rooster.
Today had another surprise for us. It is not very common that we see a snake around the place. This snake was huge! Hope it leaves our chickens alone. I am now even more convinced that we lost the last chicken to a snake.
